Exciting new findings are the core of every research and doctorate. Often, however, these findings are the result of solving many challenges first. Luckily there are tools that will help you tackle problems, come up with creative solutions and take steps forward. Whether during your doctorate or in private life, creativity and problem solving are key skills for success. So if you would like to learn more about yourself, about how to solve problems and how you can also use this in order to take your research further, maybe even take first steps on an entrepreneurial journey, come join the workshop.

Sarah Jessl is a chemist with a PhD from Cambridge University, a trainer since 2011 and a coach for start-ups teams from the natural sciences. She gained industry experience in R&D, as well as leadership experience in multiple international settings during her time as a lab team lead at BASF, founding her own training company and working with multiple student organizations. She is currently focusing on supporting innovative scientists in the field of chemistry on their entrepreneurial journey as managing director at the TUM Venture Labs. She believes that every person has the resources and strength to reach their goals – and sometimes only needs a helping hand, the right training or seminar.
