The ability to give presentations proficiently is a key factor in achieving recognition in your scientific community. If you present yourself and your results convincingly you can draw attention to your work and hence pave the way to scientific exchange, co-operations, and career opportunities. To achieve this, a thorough preparation and a sufficient amount of practice are crucial.
With a balanced combination of theoretical input and practical exercises, including video analyses, you will be prepared for scientific presentations.
- To set clear goals and adapt them to your audience.
- To present yourself and your projects convincingly.
- To deploy presentation aids in a targeted manner.
Presentation exercises, video analysis, theoretical input, discussion and exchange of experiences.
At the beginning of the doctorate | during the doctorate
This training is aimed at participants who have had only limited experience at giving presentations at scientific conferences so far.
Please bring a short presentation (approx. 5 min.) on one of your current scientific projects.
- I like that the participants were involved and interacted with the lecturer all the time.
- Opportunity to give a presentation, and get feedback.
