Course 6: Serious Creativity – Creative Problem Solving

Introduction to the course topics:

We are all facing challenges, every day, in our work and private lives. Coming up with original solutions and solving problems is a key skill for success and fulfillment – but it‘s not like we can simply press a button and make it rain ideas. There are, however, tools and principles we can use to better grasp the challenges we face, generate ideas and implement them – on our own as well as with colleagues and friends. We will practice these tools on real-life challenges, reflect on it and transfer it to each and everyone‘s individual situation.

Course aims:

• Creative thinking.
• Problem solving.
• Creative facilitation.

Teaching Methods: We will rely on a mix of digital and physical presentation, group work, breakouts and reflective sessions.

Information about the trainer:

Florian Rustler is founder of creaffective Europe and Asia, consultant, book author and speaker. Since 2008, he has been supporting organizations worldwide to strengthen agility, innovation and to create effective collaboration in organizations. He completed his master's degree in Munich and Taipei in political science, psychology and sinology. Later, he went to the International Center for Studies in Creativity at New York State University to get his Master's in Creativity and Change Leadership as well as an intensive training as Innovation Facilitator. This experience continues to shape him and creaffective to this day.
