This workshop introduces you to the basics of programming in Python, an interpreted programming language that enables developers to quickly write readable and efficient code. Python has become a standard in both academic research and industry, making it an essential tool for a wide range of applications.
In this workshop, you will understand key programming concepts, learn to navigate Python's syntax, and develop the skills needed to write your own simple programs.
- Gain an understanding of the basic Python Syntax
- Learn how to work with the command line
- Understand core concepts like Objects, Variables, Operators, Control Structures and Functions
- Gain the ability to write simple programs on your own
- Learn how to invoke third-party libraries for numerical data handling and plotting
- Understand how to proceed in your Python journey after the workshop
The course alternates between brief theory sessions and hands-on practice, allowing participants to apply concepts immediately using their Own Python Setup. This interactive approach ensures effective learning.
