Doing a Doctorate in First Generation

During this event we want to share experience about being the first person in the family doing a doctorate.
We invite former doctoral candidates of the TUM School of Life Sciences, who were the first in their family got a doctoral title.

If you already doing your doctorate or you want to start and you dealing with the same issue, please join us to discuss the following questions:
Which issues occur with that? What experience did you made? How did you explained your family your daily business?
