How to stay healthy and productive despite multiple demands

Introduction to the course topics:

Essential topics of the course are:

  • What feeds the energy tank? The three energy fields: body, core and mind.
  • Energy field body: Role of the nervous system and organs in stress. Role of cortisol in stress. Stress phases and symptoms, strengthening tools for nutrition, sleep, exercise and mini-timeouts.
  • Core energy field: role of internal and external stressors, beliefs and values in stress. Individual stress and motivator profile. Strengthening tools for the core.
  • Energy field mind: Role of the brain in stress. Perceive blocking thoughts and develop strengthening thoughts to ensure self-determination.

Course aims:

  • Participants recognise when it is time to specifically counteract possible overloads
  • Participants know how to effectively fill up their energy tank and be able to concretely counteract possible overloads
  • Particpants take along individual tools to stay mentally and physically healthy and productive
  • Participants are able to integrate these tools into their everyday life

Teaching methods:

Theory and practical exercises alternate with questions from the participants. Reflections, trainer feedback, plenary questions, videos, emotion cards, learning projects and transfer discussions complete the course.

This course fits doctoral candidates in the following phase:

at the beginning of the doctorate│during the doctorate│at the end of the doctorate

Wolfgang Parnitzke: "As a Dipl.-Ing. (TU), I worked in the industry for a long time, more than 10 years of which as a manager in a corporate group. Since overcoming a long burnout disease, I accompany managers, employees and companies as a coach and trainer for resilience and leadership. In doing so, I help them to strengthen their stress competence and resilience. Our Personal Energy Protection training keeps them performing at their best and protects their health."
