As a doctoral candidate you will have numerous additional tasks to complete which can easily distract you from your final thesis and result in time pressure and add to stress in your working day.
This often leads to a lack of spare time, relaxation and less time for personal goals.
This course is designed to help you to improve your time management and prioritization skills so that you are in control of your work load instead of it controlling you. The key to a more structured and organized work day is to become aware of your personal patterns, strengths, and potentials – in addition to setting priorities.
You will also reflect on your goals and identify the problem areas that prevent you from sticking to your priorities. By attending this course, you will get ideas on how to structure your work day and deal with tasks efficiently.
In group work sessions and on your own you will develop strategies suited to your individual cases and best suited to your style of working and your targets. You will also concentrate on measures to improve your own work-life balance and find a way to transfer the results into your individual everyday life.
This course will be conducted online.
Technical requirements: Access to internet, laptop, camera, microphone, zoom (potentially).
Your email address will be forwarded to the trainer for organizational reasons.
