Prepare yourself for Leading Teams (online)

The goal of this 2 day workshop is to support doctoral candidates in their daily challenges at university and to prepare them for leadership positions in their future career. The experience of the workshop is directly applicable, allowing participants to integrate the course content into their professional and private life.

The participants will complete the online assessment „Clifton Strengths“ prior to the workshop. In the seminar, we will look at the talent themes of each participant and discuss how they can individually use and develop their talents more successfully. We will focus on team dynamics and communication processes and analyse how each participant can apply their strengths accordingly. We will also cover conflict management, and participants will try out how to mediate a conflict between two team members. Thus the doctoral candidates will create awareness, find solutions and positive actions towards leading teams successfully.

All topics will be delivered in a methodological mix of input, individual and group work, practical simulation and discussion in order to have long-lasting effects for the participants’ professional and personal development. All participants will get material via Email to be prepared prior to the workshop (reflect talents/strengths and role plays as well as some reflecting questions) in order to use the time in the virtual meeting as good as possible.

This course will be conducted online.
