Beschreibung Kursinhalt:

Creative Problem Solving (CPS) is an explicit process that stimulates creative thinking and helps to develop new solutions for defined challenges. As a process it consists of a number of specific steps to guide the thinking.
It can be used as a reactive and proactive approach for open ended problems and challenges. Open ended means that the final result and / or the way to a solution is not clear or predefined and creative thinking is necessary in order to solve the problem

CPS works so well because

  • it is similar to the natural way of how most people solve problems.
However, CPS organizes this process in an efficient way and makes this often intuitive process explicit.

  • it combines thinking with doing and helps people to turn ideas into specific action steps.

  • it helps, through specific thinking steps to organize the thinking of individuals and especially groups and thus make it more productive.

  • it is a flexible and modular process that can be combined with numerous creativity and thinking tools.
