Slide Writing & Story Lining: Optimize your own Academic Presentation (online)

The goal of this training is to prepare and develop self-explanatory slides and a storyline from your own research fi ndings, e.g. for a conference, a project presentation or your thesis defense.

Learn smart slide writing with your own examples:

In the theoretical part of the training, you will learn techniques for structuring complex information logically and for designing easy-to-understand slides and stories. In the practical part, you will then apply these techniques to your very own research findings and produce your own presentation. By the end of day 1, you will have a coherent storyline of your own academic presentation as well as two finished slides.

Important: This training focuses on the logic of good presentations, it does not cover the use of presentation software like PowerPoint.

• Designing optimal slides and stories
• Identifying the context of a presentation
• Developing a well-structured conference presentation or PhD defense from your own research findings

Individual feedback session:
After the workshop, you have the possibility to get individual feedback on your presentation. This follow-up session will be arranged directly with the trainer.

This course will be conducted online.
